Microsoft just hit a market cap of $3,000,000,000,000 (Three trillion). They are just the second company to do so, with the first being Apple inc (currently valued at 2.99 trillion). These are the only two companies to hit that three trillion dollar market cap mark. Interesting to note that the majority of Microsoft's revenue comes from cloud based services/software, and Apple's revenue comes from hardware sales (iphones, macs, ipads, etc). Market cap is the value of a company that is traded on the stock market, calculated by multiplying the total number of shares by the present share price.

Our second story is about a company called Parabon Nanolabs working with authorities to use facial recognition DNA analysis software to render a possible suspect's case. Some "Minority Report" vibes going on over here.

Our third story is local to Toronto, where the city has banned tobogganing on a bunch of hills! The worst!
